2009 Fall Harvest Update

August 1, 2009 - All over California there appears to be a very good crop set, some areas heavier than others.  For most vineyards, that means only a bit more thinning will occur.  As opposed to last fall season, which saw a fair amount of grape shatter due to spiking temperatures at crop set, the vineyards are only seeing a bit of that this season.  2009 is shaping up to be an excellent year for the winemaker.  We are expecting an early availability this year, so now is the best time to place your order to ensure the availability of your grape.

Moscaritolo Takes Home The Gold!

May 2009 - Sandy Moscaritolo, one of our long time customers, took home a Gold Medal at the
International Amateur Wine Making Competition sponsored by WineMaker Magazine for the Bordeaux blend he made at our facility.  This was an international contest with over four thousand entrees that took place in Napa Valley.  Sandy's skill and passion for winemaking  earned him a well deserved award. We are all proud of Sandy.  Congratulations!!!!

2009 Crush Recap

November, 2009 - The fall 2009 winemaking season ended up to be an excellent year for the winemaker.  Our winemakers made a variety of different wines from California, Washington and Italy.  Some preferred standard varietals while others experimented with blends.  One theme was common, they all had a great time and are looking forward to bottling and the 2010 season.

             2016 California Harvest Update

August 19, 2016 - Reports have been arriving from California that drought conditions persist yet the weather has been ideal for grape production.  It has been warmer than usual and drier than usual resulting in grapes of high quality once again.  This warmer, dryer weather is resulting in anticipated excellent sugar and acid levels. The 2016 vintage is expected to be outstanding.  Many red and white varietals are being harvested now.  Winemaking this season will, once again, be earlier than usual this year as a result of the dryer and warmer weather in California.  Harvest is amonsgt the earliest on recod.  Click on the "Pricing" page to download a 2016 Order Form.
